Accessibility Statement
GS1 Italy Servizi S.r.l. is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Law of 9 January 2004, n. 4.
This accessibility statement applies to https://ecogentra.it/.
1. COMPLIANCE STATUS
This website is partially compliant with the requirements set out in appendix A of the UNI EN 301549 standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.
2. NON-ACCESSIBLE CONTENT
The content listed below is non-accessible for non-compliance with the Law of 9 January 2004, n. 4
In order to prepare this accessibility statement, we considered WCAG 2.1 standards and the user experience of a test panel consisting of people with different disabilities who tested the website. They made use of assistive technologies such as leading screen readers (Jaws, NVDA or VoiceOver), the purpose of which is to interpret page content by representing it as vocal output.
Test results show that some users may experience difficulties in using some pages or functions of this website, as they are only partially accessible.
We indicate below the non-compliance and success criteria violated:
1.1.1 non-textual content: some images on the website do not have alternative text as, for example, an image found on HOMEPAGE.
1.3.1 Information and correlations: on the CONTACT US page, some input fields appear to be without a label.
1.3.2 Significant sequence: some elements are not intercepted in the correct logical order by assistive technologies, and if you navigate by keyboard, for example, the cookie banner is intercepted by screen readers and by keyboard focus as the last element of the page.
1.4.1 Use of colour: On the CONTACT US page, the error message is only displayed by colour. The error message is therefore not recognizable by some users.
1.4.3 Contrast (minimum): the minimal contrast between the foreground texts and the background is not always sufficient as, for example, the text in light green on a grey background on HOMEPAGE.
2.2.2 Pause, stop hiding: on the website there are automatic animations such as, for example, on the HOMEPAGE.
2.4.1 Block jumping: there are no skip blocks links on the website.
2.4.3 Focus order: some elements are not intercepted in the correct logical order by assistive technologies, and if you navigate by keyboard, for example, the cookie banner is intercepted by screen readers and by keyboard focus as last element on the page.
2.4.4 Purpose of the link (in the context): some generic links are present on the website as, for example, “Link” on the page CONTACT US.
2.4.6 Headings and labels: on the pages of the website there are empty header levels.
2.4.7 Visible focus: the website can be browsed by keyboard however the focus is not always visible.
3.3.1 Identification of errors: on the CONTACT US page, the identification of the cause of error may not be understood by some users.
4.1.2 Name, role, value: a user using a screen reader cannot browse the options related to the role and the source.
Finally, it should be noted that some PDF documents downloadable from the website are partially readable for users using screen readers because they lack hierarchical structure (table of contents, headings, internal links) and text alternatives.
